Barbara “Bonnie” Purcell, age 80 of Woodruff, WI died on Tuesday, June 9th at the Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff, WI. Bonnie was born on October 5, 1939 in Illinois the daughter of Charles and Mary (Kosta) Vodnansky. She married James Purcell on February 6, 1960, he survives.
Bonnie was owner of “Bonnie’s Stitchery” in Minocqua and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilting.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, James and by children Carol Bayer, Mike (Rose) Purcell, Karen (Michael) Collins and Steve (Lynn) Purcell and by 10 grandchildren Rebecca Bayer Wilde, Christina Bayer, Olivia Purcell, Benjamin Purcell, Danielle Collins, William Collins, Trina White, Summer Nagy, Nichole Purcell and Amanda Purcell and by 9 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings Patricia Frederick and James Vodnansky.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mary Vodnansky and a special granddaughter Carrie Bayer.
Cremation took place and private family services will be held at a later date.
