Carol A. Grahl

December 27, 1956 — July 17, 2013

Carol Ann Fredrickson Grahl, Lac du Flambeau, went home to be with her Lord on July 17, 2013 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Memorial services for Carol will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Community Presbyterian Church of Lac du Flambeau. Visitation at 2 p.m. and services at 3 p.m. Carol was born December 27, 1956 to Raymond and Ruth (Johnson) Fredrickson, Junction City, WI. She graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 1975. She held various jobs in the Stevens Point and Iola area before relocating to Lac du Flambeau. Her last work was with Simpson Electric, Lac du Flambeau. Carol was married to Robert Martens – they divorced. She then married Lloyd Havitz – they also divorced. She later met and married her husband of 20 years, Mark Grahl. He survives. She is also survived by her sister Donna (John) Koutre, Plover; brothers Dennis (Ethyl) Fredrickson, AR; Mark (Bonnie) Fredrickson, Junction City; David (Jean) Fredrickson, Stevens Point and sister-in-law Diana (Dave) Landess, FL. Also survived by her nieces Becky (Brian) Cook; Julie (Matt) Raschka; Michelle (Shane) O’Connell, all of Plover; and Amanda Fredrickson, WI, and nephews Jake (Megan) Fredrickson, Junction City, Kevin Fredrickson, CA, Ryan and Nate Fredrickson, both of Stevens Point. She was preceded in death by her parents, her much loved and missed infant son Daniel James Martens, mother-in-law Aloise Grahl and father-in-law Merrill Grahl. She loved her family of church friends at Community Presbyterian Church of Lac du Flambeau, and being part of their Busy Bee’s group. Carol’s family thanks all those who cared about Carol, and those who cared for her. Carol was an amazing wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She traveled a long tough road, but never complained. She was ready to fly, ready to finally snuggle with her baby boy and meet her Savior. Her passing was peaceful, fitting for someone with such a beautiful, caring heart. We love you Carol. Until we meet again in His glory. Memorial services for Carol will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Community Presbyterian Church of Lac du Flambeau. Visitation at 2 p.m. and services at 3 p.m.
