Charles W. Eternicka, age 74, passed-away peacefully on November 17, 2020 at Woodland Court in Merrill, WI. Charlie was a long-time resident of Woodruff; WI having worked at various oil companies and the Lake of the Torches Casino as a bus driver. Charlie also served in the US Air Force. His great loves were his dogs, family, and hunting trips and vacations out West. Charlie and his wife, Katie, just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 11, 2020. Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved dogs; his parents, Anton and Adrienne Eternicka and his in-laws, Thomas and Rita Oxley. He is survived by his wife, Katie; sister-in-laws, Lauriel Oxley, Diana Kirschling (Bob), Anietta Allen (Bob), many aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, and cousins. Nimsgern Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements; however, at this time, there will only be a private burial service for the family.
