David Lee Doolittle

December 28, 1936 — April 29, 2020

David Lee Doolittle, age 83 of Lake Tomahawk, WI passed away on Wednesday, April 29th at his residence with his family by his side. Dave was born on December 28, 1936 the son of Elmer and Irene (nee Foegen) Doolittle. Dave graduated from Kaukauna High School and proudly served in the US Army. He married Donna Bowers on August 1, 1961, she survives. He owned and operated Dave’s Sport and Marine since 1961. Dave was an avid hunter and musky fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Donna and children Lynn Ebben, Lory (Ray) Hietpas, Dan Doolittle, and Lisa (Jim) VanZeeland and by grandchildren Kurt (Laura) Ebben, Corey (special friend Lindsey) Ebben, Ashley (special friend Chad) Hietpas, Travis (fiancé Jessica Lyn) Hietpas, Michelle (Jesse) Banick, Kyle (special friend Taylor) Doolittle, Megan (special friend Bailey) VanZeeland and Mariah VanZeeland and by his great grandchildren Ella, Turner, Isaiah and Chance. Further survived by his siblings Mary Zirbel and Jim Doolittle and his brother in law Carl (Judy) Bowers and sisters in law Pat Bowers and Joanne Doolittle and by multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Irene and by his Parents in law, Ferdinand and Justina Bowers and by his brother Rich Doolittle and sister Patty Doolittle and brothers in law Ken Zirbel and Roger Bowers.

Cremation took place and private service will be held and a celebration of life will follow at a later date.

The family cannot begin to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from family and friends.
