Dolores C. Kuckkahn

Dolores C. Kuckkahn, age 87 of Lake Tomahawk, WI died on Sunday, December 1st at Rennes Health and Rehab Center in Rhinelander, WI. Dolores was born on August 3, 1932 in Lac du Flambeau, WI the daughter of William and Alice (nee McAllister) Carufel. She married William E. Kuckkahn on October 21, 1950, he preceded her in death on July 1, 2015.

Dolores was a member of the Lac du Flambeau Ojibwe Tribe and a long-time resident of Lake Tomahawk. Dolores raised 5 children with her husband Bill and enjoyed many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling, going to the casino, playing Bingo and cards with family and friends. She tought by example and was loved by many.

She is survived by her children: Deanna Clark, William D. (Jane) Kuckkahn, Patricia (Timothy) Lerch, and Tina (Delbert) Kuckkahn and by her grandchildren: Daniel (Karen) Clark, Darryl (Jessica) Clark, Desiree Clark, Shondi (Jared) Christenson, Amanda (Joshua) Calhoun, William (Cyndi) Kuckkahn, Bethany Sparks, Luke (Jessica) Kuckkahn, Laura (Jake) Galloy, Licia (BJ) Johnson, Matthew Howe, Joseph (Katie) Lerch, Michael Brey, Dustin (Heather) Brey, Ronald Ross, Christee Kuckkahn and Richard Moomaw and by many great grandchildren and a great great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, daughter Terry and granddaughter Darsi Clark and by her 11 siblings.

Visitation will be held today, Friday, December 6th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am and burial will be at Wilderness Rest Cemetery in Lake Tomahawk, WI.
