Dorothy L. Lewis

Dorothy L. Lewis of Arbor Vitae, WI passed away at home on May 21 after a brief illness.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 10th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel, 1025 Margaret Street in Woodruff, WI.

Mrs. Lewis was born October 28, 1927 in Stevens Point, a daughter of Christopher and Anna (Dorger) Landowski. She attended area schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School. She married John O. Lewis on October 13, 1945. They were married for over 70 years. Dorothy worked for Uhlemann Optical and Big-A Card Co. in Stevens Point and No Sweat Clothing Store in Minocqua, WI.

She is survived by her Husband, John of Arbor Vitae, WI and 4 Children: Cheryl (Tom) Bablitch of Minocqua, WI; John (Karen) Lewis of Minocqua, WI; Terry (Marilyn) Lewis of Plover, WI; and Richard (Joan Wimme) Lewis of Stevens Point, WI and by 8 Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 2 Step Great Grandchildren. Also survived by a Sister, Evelyn Opperman of Stevens Point, WI and a Brother, Gerald (Phyllis) Landowski of Rosholt, WI.

She was predeceased by her parents and an infant brother, Robert.
