Earl “Chuck” Oliver Ehrhardt, age 70 of Minocqua, WI passed away on Tuesday, October 23rd at his home surrounded by his family.
Earl was born January 24, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI. He attended West Division High School. While he was enlisted in the United States Air Force, he married his loving wife Sally Joan Merrill on January 25, 1969. He retired from Wisconsin Sheet Metal Workers. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Packers and Brewers. Most importantly he enjoyed his children and grandchildren’s accomplishments, playing sports, watching them grow, and spending time with them. He loved having a large family of eight children and seventeen grandchildren. Above all, he loved his wife, Sally – his ”wifey poo”, of almost 50 years.
Earl is survived by his wife Sally Joan Ehrhardt (nee Merrill). His children Sharon (Josh) Saunders, Karen (Jonathan) Crispin, Earl E. (Sarah) Ehrhardt, Dwayne (Jessica) Ehrhardt, Sara (David) Mollen, William (Margie) Ehrhardt, Ellen (Shawn) Ehrhardt, Sonya (Matt) Ehrhardt.His grandchildren from oldest to youngest, Eric, Kayla, Brent, Derek, Madeline, Jacob, Alexus, Karina, Gavin, Tristen, Caden, Trinity, Claire, Jocelyn, Emalee, Jaxon, and Serenity. His Bro, Terry R. (Sandy) Williams, Aunt June Shafer, cousin Tom (Norma) Shafer, and many other family and friends.
Earl is preceded in death by his mother Eleanore Ehrhardt, his son Dwayne Thomas Ehrhardt, and his grandparents Herman and Eleanore Ehrhardt.
Visitation will be held from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Saturday, October 27th at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00PM with military honors.
