Jack Arthur Richardson, 73, passed away at his home in Minocqua, on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
Jack was a life-long resident of Minocqua. He was born to Delbert and Clara (Gongaware) Richardson on January 9, 1946 in Minocqua. He grew up on the family farm, youngest of twelve children.
Jack grew up enjoying the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and loved spending time at the shack or later at hunting camp on the Tongue River in Miles City, Montana.
On October 9, 1965 he married Carol Weinberger in Butternut, WI. They lived in Minocqua where he ran Jack Richardson Masonry and also installed permanent piers throughout the Lakeland area. In 1966, Jack and Carol welcomed their first child, Jack, followed by Jody, Jerry, and Dawn.
Jack is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol of Minocqua; his children, Jack (Jan) of Minocqua, Jody (Pam) of Arbor Vitae, Jerry (Sheila) of Park City, MT, and Dawn (Joe Pinto) of Harvey Cedars, NJ. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; Nick and Nate Richardson, Emily (fiancé Michael Schnabel) and Leigh Richardson, Heather Richardson, and Brooke, Jaiden and Myranda Baumgartner. He is further survived by three brothers, Terry, Tim and Ed; four sisters, Sally Rousseau, Marlene Filbrandt, Joy Collis, and Pat Destache; and by his Brother and Sister in laws; Bonnie (William) Altman, Jerry Weinberger, David (Darlene) Weinberger and Robert (Joy) Weinberger as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Harlan Moseley, siblings Harvey, Donald, Dick, and Vivian.
Memorial Service for Jack will be held on Sunday, July 7th at 2:00 pm at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a reception to follow at the funeral home.
