James E. Seiter

James E. “Jim” Seiter, age 95 of Lake Tomahawk, WI passed away on Thursday, July 29th at Milestone Senior Living in Tomahawk, WI. Jim was born on November 1, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN the son of Herbert and Marie Seiter. He received his Master’s degree from St. Thomas College and married his wife Trudy on May 5, 1951. He was the superintendent for Orono School District. Jim enjoyed sports, baseball, and working outside.
He is survived by his children James Seiter, Jr.; Mike (Kathy) Seiter and Patrick (Liz) Seiter and by grandchildren Tori (Tim) Kuhn, Savannah, Emily and Ellie and by his sibling Sister Marie “Patty” Herbert and by his sister in laws Jean Seiter and Mary Castille and by other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Trudy and his parents Herbert and Marie and by his brother George “Bud” Seiter and sisters Margaret (Tom) Morrow and Alice (Bob) Belter and by his grandson Earl.
Funeral Mass for Jim will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI with a visitation from 10:00 am till time of service. There will also be a Memorial Gathering on Monday, August 8th from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Carondelet Village, 525 Fairview Ave S., St. Paul, MN; 55116. Followed by committal services at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights at 2:30 pm
