James M. “Jim” or “Kamshaft” Kamenick, age 76 of Woodruff, WI died on Wednesday, March 29th at his residence. Jim was born on August 4, 1940 in Marathon, WI the son of Henry and Violet (nee Karlen) Kamenick. Jim graduated from Milwaukee Pius High School and was a Truck Driver the majority of his life. He married Karen Jones on August 21, 1992.
Jim would always volunteer for the annual Arbor Vitae Fireman’s Picnic. He enjoyed traveling and loved his Honda Gold Wing Touring Bike, taking day trips with his wife, Karen.
He is survived by his Wife, Karen and by Step-Children; Steve (Kathy) Finucane and Cheri Chartier and by 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren and by his 2 Sisters: Faye Mirr and Nancy Gajewski and further survived by his 9 nephews and nieces and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Violet.
Upon Jim’s wishes, cremation took place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Arbor Vitae Fire Department.
