Jean Ann Chapman

Jean Ann Chapman, age 70 of Lac du Flambeau, WI and formerly of Green Bay, WI died on Sunday, September 14th at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Jean was born on June 10, 1944 in Green Bay, WI the daughter of Bernard and Phyllis (nee Mason) Vanden Plas. Jean graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1962. She married Carl Chapman Sr. on July 17, 1962. She worked for Lamers Bus Company for many years and retired in 2003.
Jean was very creative with an eye for detail which showed in her crafting and sewing projects. She loved her Hosta and Lily gardens and had an outgoing personality and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Sr. of Lac du Flambeau, WI and her Children: Carl Jr. of Neenah, WI and Ann (Scott) Chapman-Narten of Manitowoc, WI.
And her beloved grandchildren: Blair Hill, Hannah Hill, Carl Chapman IV, Shelby Narten and Garrett Narten and further survived by her Brother, Richard (Marlene) Vanden Plas of Green Bay, WI and Brother-in-law, Ken Jacobson of Ironwood, MI and by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her Parents, and 2 Brothers; Bernard and William.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 18th at 11:00 AM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a visitation from 10:00 AM till time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Arbor Vitae, WI
