Johannah Marie Peterson

Johannah M. Peterson, age 87 of Minocqua, WI died on Saturday, March 23rd at Country Terrace in Minocqua, WI. Johannah was born on August 9, 1931 in Benton Harbor, Michigan the daughter of William and Hannah (nee Aigner) Fuchs. She married Donald J. Peterson on November 26, 1949.
She worked as a wirer, solderer, shipping clerk and seamstress throughout her working career. She enjoyed sewing, watching movies and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Donald J. (Sandy) Peterson Jr. of Dublin,CA; Amelia (Ronald) Zimmer of Minocqua, WI; Jerilyn (William) Monroe of Boulder Creek, CA; and Robert (Mercedez) Peterson of San Jose, CA and grandchildren: Katherine (JB Baird) Zimmer of Seattle, WA; Margaret Zimmer of Chicago, IL; Paul Zimmer of Indianapolis, IN; Joshua (Katrina) Zimmer of Winona, MN and Michael (Breanna) Peterson of Raleigh, NC and by great grandchild Killian Peterson and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Johannah was preceded by her parents, her husband Donald and by sisters: Emily Moore and Rosalie Rybarczyk.
Upon her wishes cremation took place and a memorial service will take place at a later date in Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Trinity Lutheran Church or Alzheimer’s Foundation.
