June Elizabeth Duranso, age 91 of Winchester, WI died on Wednesday, February 17th at Rennes Health and Rehab in Rhinelander, WI with family at her side. June was born on June 2, 1929 in Winegar (Presque Isle) WI, the daughter of Harry and Jennie (nee Seymour) Carlsen. She married Earl Duranso Jr. on October 28, 1950.
June was a homemaker and was an active member of the Winchester Women’s Civic Club and the Pinetones. She enjoyed, sewing, crafts, singing, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and teaching her children and grandchildren how to bake breads, pastys and desserts.
June is survived by her children Rosemary Woodford, Robert (Mary Ellen) Duranso and Sharon (Joe) Moll and by her grandchildren Rebecca (Ty) Rayala, Amy Duranso, Jennifer (Sebastian) Bellante, Bradley Duranso, Joe (Nina) Moll II, Jamie (Nate Golombiski) Moll and by great grandchildren Earl Duranso, Joe Moll III and Taylor Moll and by her sister Hazel Ericksen and by her brother-in-law Daniel (Adele) Duranso and sister-in-law Nancy Meier and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Jennie Carlsen, her husband Earl Duranso, Jr. and by her son-in-law Donald (Woody) Woodford.
Upon her wishes, cremation took place and private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Winchester Fire Department and EMS, Winchester Library or Winchester Memorial Garden.
