Marjorie E. Chadek

Marjorie Elsie Chadek, 92, passed away in her home in Woodruff on June 23, 2015. Marjorie was born on July 27, 1922 in a house still standing on Park Street in Minocqua and spent almost her entire life in the Minocqua area. She was raised by her parents Augusta and Charles Brandt, and had two brothers Charles “Bud” and Ray Brandt, all of whom preceded her in death. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her husband Delton Chadek in 1999 who worked for Wisconsin Public Service. They married in 1948.
Marjorie is survived by her three children, Carol Martin, Phoenix, Arizona; Bonnie Kittelsrud, Woodruff; and Arthur Chadek, Windsor, California. In addition, she was a proud grandmother of six, great grandmother of seven, and a great-great grandmother of one.
A memorial service and luncheon will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11:30AM at Nimsgern Funeral Home in Woodruff.
