Michael A. Kainz, age 73 of Boulder Junction, WI died on Tuesday, June 20th at Rennes Health and Rehab in Rhinelander, WI. Mike was born on March 17, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Max and Jane (nee Schmidt) Kainz. Mike proudly served in the US Army and married Kathy A. Moser on October 16, 1983. Mike worked as a cook for many years at Lake of the Torches Casino and enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, cooking and photography.
He is survived by his Wife; Kathy A. Kainz and by Daughters: Vanessa (Christian) Hahn and Heather Zinsmeister and by Grandchildren: Jasmine (Traye) Hendricks, Jared Hasch, Lauren Gardner, Sean Gardner and Great Grandchild: Talon Hendricks and by his Siblings; Sr. Mary Kainz and John Kainz and by dear family friend, David Hasch. Mike was preceded in death by his Parents; Max and Jane Kainz and Sisters: Gladys Hoffmeister and Elsa Lowery.
Upon his wishes, cremation took place and private family services were held.
