Michael C Sweo

Michael C. Sweo, age 77 of Lac du Flambeau, WI and formerly of Rhinelander, WI died on Sunday, July 26th at Avanti Health and Rehab in Minocqua, WI. Mike was born on September 21, 1942 in Rhinelander, WI the son of Clayton and Kathleen Sweo. He graduated from Rhinelander High School. He married Geraldine Diver on December 6, 1985. Mike was self employed as a landscaper and plowed snow in the winter months. He loved the Packers football games and going on long rides and loved his sweets.
He is survived by his wife Geraldine and his children Michael Clayton (Amy) Sweo Jr., Rick Sweo and Tammy Sweo and by stepchildren Dean (Denese) Bettinger, Jesse (Lauire) Bielen and Travis (Tricia) Gechas and by grandchildren Bryce Sweo and step grandchildren Megan Bettinger, Jenna Bettinger, Angel Rigney, Johnathon Stevens, Avery Bielen, Kole Gechas, Kylie Gechas and Hailey Buettner and by great grandchildren Haylee Anderson, Gavyn Rigney and Brynlee Stevens and by his brother James Patrick Sweo and by nephew Clayton Sweo and his beloved pet Chloe (baby) dog.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Clayton and Kathleen Sweo.
Visitation for Mike will be held on Friday, July 31st from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a Graveside Service at 3:00 pm at Memorial Cemetery in Lac du Flambeau, WI.
