Raymond C. Young

Raymond Clinton Young, age 76 of Hazelhurst, WI died on Saturday, January 10th at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI. Ray was born on June 1, 1938 in Park Falls, WI the son of Clinton and Anna (nee Kelnhofer) Young. Ray married his high school sweetheart, Lila Lee on June 7, 1958 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Woodruff, WI. Lila preceded Ray in death on March 10, 2014.
Ray was a contractor in the Lakeland area for many years, he loved the Northwoods, hunting and spending time with his Grandkids. He was a good and supportive Father, Brother and friend. Was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his Son, Darrell of Hazelhurst, WI and 2 Grandchildren: Tyler and Kaitlin and by his Brother, Will (Pat) Young of Hazelhurst, WI and Sister, Pat Cleveland of Minocqua, WI and his Mother-in-law, Laura Lee of Minocqua, WI and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lila Young; his parents, and 1 Sister, Doris and 1 Brother, Bert.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minocqua, WI with a visitation from 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be in the spring at Lakeside Cemetery in Hazelhurst, WI.
