Richard F. Connolly

Richard F. “Dick” Connolly, age 86 of Minocqua, WI died on Tuesday, October 21st at Friendly Village Nursing and Rehab in Rhinelander, WI. Dick was born on October 19, 1928 in Chicago, IL the son of Henry and Mary (nee Collins) Connolly. He married Sue Hawley on August 7, 1954.
Dick graduated for UW-Madison and worked for JI Case for many years, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed fishing, boating, Cross Country Skiing, Biking and Walking.
He is survived by his wife, Sue of Minocqua, WI and Children: Mary (Jon) of Wauwatosa, WI; Ginny (Gary) of Lac du Flambeau, WI; Barb (Jon) of Milwaukee, WI; Ann (Carl) of Minneapolis, MN, Sheila of Black Earth, WI and Bill of Johnston, IA and by Grandchildren: Zak, Ben, Noah, Erin, Lee, Sam, Ellie, Michael, Maire, Keira, Kris (Angela), Chase and Dean and his Sister, Janet (Gene) Baker of Minnetonka, MN and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Mary Connolly.
Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 31st at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI with a visitation from 10:00 AM till time of service at the church.
