Robert D. Saunders

Robert David Saunders, age 77 of Woodruff, WI died on Monday, October 28th at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Robert was born on February 10, 1936 in New Haven, Connecticut the son of Frederick and Christine Saunders. Robert married Catherine Kozell on May 13, 1989 at the Cathedral of the Pines in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and graduated from Yale Graduated School. The majority of his work career was as an electrical engineer on submarines. Robert enjoyed working and spending time on his computer. Robert built his home in the Northwoods and enjoyed all the wildlife it had to offer. Robert is survived by his wife, Catherine and their 2 Siberian Huskies, Tundra and Xander. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 1st at 12:00 Noon at the Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI. Burial with Military Honors will take place on Monday, November 4th at 11:30 AM at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
