Ronald Lee Briggs

Ronald Lee Briggs, 76, of Sayner, WI passed away at his home Sunday June 19, 2016. Visitation will be at 10am, followed by a memorial service at 11am, Thursday, June 23 at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Sayner.

Ron was born September 14th, 1939 in Corning, Iowa. He married Carol Ann Nagengast of Varina, Iowa on September 17th, 1960. Ron spent most of his life working as a mechanic. He was proud of the several years he spent as a wrecker driver in the 1960s and early 1970s. He loved to help people and that showed through his entire life. Ron also enjoyed the outdoors, his family, the Sayner community, grooming for the barnstomers and many good friends at the local pubs. He will be missed by many.

Ron is survived by his wife Carol of 55 years, daughter Jackie (Dwight) Kimber of Sayner, WI, son Brent (Annette) Briggs of Collins, IA and daughter Bonnie (Mark) Mahlow of Zearing, IA. Grandchildren Danielle (Tim) McDonald, Nathan (Natalie) Kimber, Brandi (Adam) Erickson, Dustin (Megan) Kimber, Bryce Briggs, Baillie Briggs and McKenzie Briggs.
Great grandchildren Noelle, Alivia and Scarlett McDonald, Levi and Noah Erickson, and Abbey and Evie Kimber.
