Rudolph “Rudy” Stotka
Rudolph Richard “Rudy” Stotka, 81, Town of Worcester, died in the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips while under the care of Flambeau Home Health and Hospice on Thursday, April 13, 2017. He was born in Phillips on April 15, 1935, the son of Stefan and Bernardine (Chuak) Stotka. In his working days Rudy helped on the family farm. He was a devout member of Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. In his free time he enjoyed bicycling, listening to polka music, and visiting with friends.
He is survived by one brother, Joseph Stotka, Phillips; and by five nieces and nephews, John and Andrew Stotka, Michael Hradnansky, Terri Hradnansky-Barnes, and Francee Hradnansky. He is preceded in death by one sister and her husband, Mary and Frank Hradnansky, by sister-in-law, May Stotka; and by two nieces, Marie Stotka and Paulette Hradnansky.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 19, at Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Gerald Hagen celebrating the Funeral Mass. Interment will be in the Saint Patrick Cemetery in Phillips. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
