Rudoph E. “Rudy” Tarant III, age 79 of Boulder Junction, WI died on Saturday, February 8th at his residence. Rudy was born on January 17, 1941 in Berwyn, IL the son of Rudolph and Mae (nee Cermak) Tarant II. Rudy attended LaGrange Junior College before entering the US Army. Rudy owned and operated Advance Offset Press in Naperville, IL before retiring to the Northwoods.
He was a member of the Boulder Junction Snowmobile Club and was a Green Bay Packer fan, avid snowmobiler, collector of firearms, great cook and grillmaster.
He is survived by his wife Joy of Boulder Junction, WI and by his son Jeffrey (Jackie) Tarant of Lisle, IL and daughter Monica (Ray) Frenden of Georgetown, TX and by step children Jennifer (Rob) Voudrie-Kozlowski of Palmer, AK; Jacquline Voudrie-Gervais of Wasilla, AK; James (Boo) Voudrie of Joliet, IL and by grandchild Edith Gervais of Wasilla, AK and further survived by other relatives and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rudolph and Mae Tarant.
Special thank you to Ascension Hospice and Home Health team and more importantly an unending gratitude to our neighbors who are now considered family. Jay and Nikki Kassien, Gary Buchert, John and Phyllis Campbell for their continued love and support, physically, spiritually and emotionally. And lastly, his loyal, faithful and constant companion; Clancy, our Irish Terrier.
Memorial Celebration of Rudy’s life will be planned for all friends and family this summer in our back yard.
