Terese Ann Dominski

October 3, 1950 — August 25, 2019

Teri (Terese) Dominski, born Oct. 3, 1950, quietly and very peacefully passed to Jesus on the evening of Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019 in her home with her family at her side.

Teri took delight in her faith, family, friends, and the beauty of the Northwoods surrounding her. She was a classy, graceful woman, with the sunny countenance of a daisy. Teri fought cancer with the tenacity of a bulldog.

Teri loved to fish all year long. She was an expert tip-up tender, fish cleaner, and accomplished Northwoods chef and foodie. Teri held the role of Den Mother to the many family, friends, and gatherings held at Bird Lake.

She enjoyed shopping, particularly if a bargain was to be had. Teri frequented little shops, thrift and antique stores and various Northwoods fairs with family and friends.

Teri developed many friendships during her lifetime, maintaining even friendships from school days with her girlfriends. Further relationships were added during Teri’s 25-year career with the Marshfield Clinic and her recreational activities in the Northwoods.

Next to Jesus, the true apple of Teri’s eye was her beloved son John Paul, his wife Jennifer, and their young son Zachary, who was her only and most precious grandchild.

Teri was preceeded in death by her parents, Ed and Lil Warren, and her brother Scott Warren. She is survived by her son John Paul Dominski, daughter-in-law Jennifer Dominski, grandson Zachary Dominski, and special mother-in-law Joanie Dominski. Teri is further survived by her siblings, Chris (Susan) Warren, Laurie (Jim) Hansen, Mike Warren, Phil (Sally) Warren, Marybeth Kartes, Steve (Debbie) Warren, and Connie Rogowski; nieces, nephews, and cousins, manfriend Roger and best friend Lisa.

Despite her petite size, Teri’s heart had a large. bountiful capacity for love. Her sweet, selfless nature and kind, soft voice endeared her to everyone she encountered.

Teri was a blessing to all and will be remembered fondly in warm, gentle breezes on sunny days. We who loved her will miss her so ... she was a priceless gem and her death has left a Teri-sized hole in each of our hearts, shaped like a teardrop.

A private family service will be held for Teri with final internment in the Northwoods.

Teri’s family would like to extend a most sincere thank you for all of the attentions and care bestowed upon our beloved Teri since the onset of her cancer. Special regards to the Marshfield Clinic, doctors, staff, and caregivers, most notably Dr. Demet Gokalp Yasar, oncologist extraordinaire, and her staff and home health RN Omo Rae. May God bless you.
