Thomas P. Wojtkiewicz, age 89 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Sunday, November 25th at Country Terrace in Minocqua, WI. Thomas was born on April 3, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Paul and Alexandra (nee Drobiszewski) Wojtkiewicz. He is an alumni of Milwaukee Pius XI High School and the Milwaukee Institute of Technology. Tom proudly served during WWII in the United States Coast Guard. He married Cecilia Rogahn on June 9, 1956, she survives.
Tom retired after 30 years at Allen-Bradley. He was a member of the Ushers Society for more than 50 years and past Grand Knight and lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. Tom was also a charter member of the Northwoods Railroad Club and a member of the St. Germain Prime Timers. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, model railroading, playing cards and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years; Cecilia of Arbor Vitae, WI and proud father of Paul (Michelle) Wojtkiewicz of Illinois and Victoria (John) Li of California and by grandchildren; Danielle and Brittney Wojtkiewicz and Alyssa and Gabriella Li and by his siblings; Paul (Eleane) Wokwicz and Alicia (Wayne) Neal.
Visitation for Tom will be held on Friday, November 30th from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial with military honors will take place at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus.
