Tom Handrick

Thomas “Tommy” Mark Handrick, age 55 of Minocqua, WI died on Wednesday, March 7th . Tom was born on May 29, 1962 in Woodruff, WI the son of Glenn and Doris (nee Habblitz) Handrick. Tom attended MHLT grade school and was a 1980 graduate of Lakeland Union High School. Tommy married Kelly Kohnhorst on July 8, 2017. He was owner and operator of Lakeland Landscaping.

Tommy was a servant to the Lakeland area, active member and past president of the Minocqua Lions Club and a recipient of the Birch-Sturm Fellowship, chairperson for many committees. Tommy was also a board member of Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce and volunteer coach for the Lakeland area wrestling programs for many years. Tommy’s hobbies were volunteering, wrestling, photography, playing softball, golf and dart leagues, Snow Jets and UTVing with his wife, Kelly and knowing everyone’s business.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Kelly and his parents; Glenn (Doris) Handrick and son; Eric (Carissa) Handrick and by stepchildren; Amy (Dusty) Hahn and Adam Willhite and by grandchildren; Leah, Morgan, Holly, Curtis, Kyle and Reese. Further survived by his siblings; Jeanne (Steve) Mather, Pat (Marcia) Handrick, Mike (Martha) Handrick, Joe (Sue) Handrick and his sisters-in-law; Diane and Cyndy and by his Aunts; Betty, Flo, Donna, Jackie and Uncle, Skip and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.

Tommy was preceded in death by his Grandparents; George and Florence Handrick, Clifford and Mary Habblitz and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial Gathering for Tommy will be held on Wednesday, March 14th from 3:00 to 9:00 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel with a Time of Sharing at 7:00 PM
