Walter P. Miller, age 88 of Arbor Vitae, WI; also known as Wally or Uncle Wally passed away early Tuesday morning. Wally married Audrey D. Miller on Christmas day in 1986. He was a retired master mechanic, Korean War Veteran, and amazing country-western artist/musician in his band, “Thunder Road.” Born in Los Angeles, Ca on May 12, 1933, Wally enjoyed singing, playing instruments, restoring antique cars and he knew everything about airplanes and worked on them too. He loved fishing and was a longtime vendor at the Iola Old Car Show.
He is survived by his wife Audrey (nee Shepstone) Miller and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Marcella, Audrey and Helen.
Private family services will be held and burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Arbor Vitae, WI.
