William E. Kuckkahn

November 10, 1931 — July 1, 2015

William Earl Kuckkahn was born in Watertown WI, attended AVW school, and wed Dolores (Carufel) Kuckkahn on October 21st, 1950. Retired from the Wisconsin Valley Improvement Company, Bill served as fire chief for 17 out of 50 years of volunteer service. A recipient of Lake Tomahawk's “Citizen of the Year” award, Bill enjoyed motorcycles, hunting and outdoor activities. He is survived by his spouse Dolores, children Deanna Clark, William David (Jane) Kuckkahn, Patricia (Tim) Kuckkahn-Lerch and Tina (Delbert) Kuckkahn-Miller, 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sister Kathy, daughter Terry and granddaughter Darsi. He was devoted to his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service starting at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Wilderness Rest Cemetery in Lake Tomahawk, WI.
