Adela Matilda Holoubek, age 93, a resident of Phillips, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Rib Lake Health Services. She was born in St. John, WI, to parents Mathias J., and Catherine (Denzel) Breit.
Adela married the love of her life Stanley Miles Holoubek, and together they ran a dairy farm. They had 3 wonderful children together. Adela loved baking, crafts, making wreaths, and sewing. She was involved with St. Therese’s, CCW, Homemakers, Health Alliance, and Tops. She was also a 4-H leader for a number of years.
Adela was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Stanley; son: Kenneth Holoubek; parents; sisters: Rita (Elmer) Eichmeier and Dolores (Laddie) Holoubek. She is survived by her children: Mark Holoubek of Stevens Point, WI, Beth (Daniel) Bryan of Phillips, WI, four grandchildren: Nathan (Kayce) Holoubek, Kaleigh (Matt) Loken, Jessica Bryan, Steven (Melinda) Bryan; eight great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Phillips, WI. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am and go until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow the service at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. A reception will be held at Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home after the inurnment.
