Much could be said about Barbara’s love of family and hard work as a farm wife raising seven children, her lifelong membership at Spirit Baptist Church, love of art and poetry and long walks in nature; but most noteworthy was her strong faith. Although she had become frail in mind and body, she never doubted her eternal destination. Barb’s heavenly security was not in anything she could ever do, but in Jesus, her Lord and Savior. She had read the Bible – all of it – and she believed it. Jesus paid it all and He’s coming again.
