Bernice B. Lehnherr, age 91, 428 N. 6th Street, Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk. Bernice was born November 30, 1915 in Marshfield to Otto and Harriet (Paul) Bartell. She married Herman "Hank" Lehnherr in October 1936 in Iowa; he passed away in January 2005. Bernice farmed with her husband in Nasonville and New Glarus. She also worked many years as a seamstress and in customer service for JC Penneys in both Marshfield and Madison, Wisconsin. She also worked at Capitol Decoration as office manager and Brunkie Glass. She enjoyed sewing, playing the organ, gardening and tending her African violets. Survivors include: 1 Son Dave (Marleen) Lehnherr of Tomahawk 1 Sister Beulah Bartell of Tomahawk 2 Granddaughters D'Lacey (Tim) Haight of Merrill Carrie (Joseph) Kearney of Chippewa Falls 2 Great Grandsons Benjamin & Joshua Haight Funeral Services for Bernice Lehnherr will be held at the Krueger & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
