Bruce Jensen, age 76, of 5705 N. 44th Ave., Wausau, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Bruce was born on August 4, 1932 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Arthur and Ruth (Gablenz) Jensen. He married Faye Pheifer on December 19, 1959 in Edgar, she passed away on September 6, 2003. Bruce served his country in the United States Army. He had been a self-employed salesman for most of his life. Bruce was an avid sportsman, he especially enjoyed spending time at his cottage in the Willow area for the past 47 years. He had also been active in various community service groups in the Wausau area and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wausau.

Bruce is further survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Bruce Jensen will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Wausau. Rev. Gerald Morris will officiate. Burial with military rites will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00.
