Charles Dobbs

Charles E. Dobbs, 70, W6710 Milky Road, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff. Charlie was born August 30, 1937 in Shawano to Edward and Hilda (Passehl) Dobbs. He married Linda Krueger on October 27, 1973 in Tomahawk. Charlie was a licensed cheesemaker and worked at various cheese factories in the eastern part of the state. He formerly worked as a trucker. He was the owner of Charlie's Self Serve in Tomahawk for the past 27 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and especially enjoyed hunting trips out to South Dakota. He was a proud member of AA for the past 25 years. Survivors include: Wife Linda Dobbs of Tomahawk 2 Sisters Marjorie (Gene) Hicks of Clintonville Julie Dobbs of Baltimore Charlie is further survived by his Mother-in-law, 2 Brothers-in-law, 2 Sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and his 3 black labs. Funeral Services for Charlie Dobbs will be held at Noon on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Gass will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at Noon. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
