Deloris E. Cortazzo, age 79 formerly of Tomahawk, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Tennessee.

She was born on February 6, 1938 in Seymour, Wisconsin to the late Lawrence and Mary Daoust. She enjoyed karaoke, was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and also enjoyed bowling. Deloris worked as an EMT in Tomahawk, where she worked as the only lady on the crew. After her retirement in 1985, she worked for Fuji Photo Lab until they shut down. Deloris will be remembered as always being happy and rolling with the punches.

Deloris is survived by her children, Matthew Cortazzo, Tony Cortazzo, and Michele (Joel); grandchildren, Aubry, Amy, Kelly, Rachael, and Michael; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Mavis Salacinski of Tomahawk.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Cortazzo; sister, Margaret Gartzke; and a great-grandson.

Deloris will be buried in Calvary Cemetery at 11:00AM on October 28, 2017. The family will gather for a short prayer service, and would enjoy the company of people who knew Deloris.
