Donald D. Boehm, age 94, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital. He was born September 17, 1928, in Chicago, IL to Julia and Art Boehm.
Donald attended Mauston Grade School where he attended through eighth grade. He was a member of the Boy Scouts. Donald enjoyed maple syrup making, fishing, and building log cabins. Donald served as a Sergeant in the Korean War for four years. He attended school to become a Tool and Die Maker at Harnischfeger’s Crane Place, where he was employed for many years.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Art, Ralph, Leroy, Jerry, Julian, Leonard, and Robert; sisters: Joyce Thompson and Julie Boehm.
He is survived by his wife: Viola Boehm (nee Kohout); children: Ken (Ann) Boehm, Jeff (Susan) Boehm and Rosann Theilman; grandchildren: Derek, David, Melissa Theilman, Tara Sprange, Theresa Boehm, Alise Jablonsky, Gabby Hastreiter, Alex Boehm, Allie and Logan Theilman, Kylee Wagner, Reese Roethle, Milana Theilman, Kayden Theilman, Austin Sprague, Lucas Sprague, and Steven; great-grandchildren: AJ Blaser and Allie Jablonsky; sister-in-law, Anna Boehm.
