Donald Snyder

Donald E. Snyder, age 46, 1203 Lark Street, Merrill, died July 29, 2008 as a result of an industrial accident at PCA - Tomahawk Mill. Don was born September 28, 1961 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Raymond and Carolyn (Bryant) Snyder. He was formerly married to Mary (Salmon) Chittenden, and later married Gail DePauw on November 8, 1997 in Otsego, Michigan. He was the superintendant of the #2 paper machine at PCA - Tomahawk Mill. Don enjoyed golfing, body building, walking, and spending time with his boys. He was a big sports fan - especially drag racing. Survivors include: Wife Gail Snyder Merrill 2 Sons Zack Snyder Anthony Snyder both of Grand Haven, Michigan Parents Raymond & Carolyn Snyder Shelbyville, Michigan 2 Brothers Dan (Debbie) Snyder Wayland, Michigan Dennis Snyder Atlanta, Georgia Former Wife Mary (Barry) Chittenden Grand Haven, Michigan Funeral Services for Donald Snyder will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2008 from Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Rebecca Peters will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of services at 7:00 p.m. There will also be services held in Plainwell, Michigan with burial to take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Orangeville, Michigan.
