Dorothy Bogie

Dorothy E. Bogie, age 86, 1004 Timm St., Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk. Dorothy was born December 15, 1921 in Antigo, the daughter of William and Eliza (Buss) Heschke. She married Phillip Bogie on July 2, 1938 in Merrill; he passed away October 22, 2007. Dorothy was formerly employed with National Container, and was also employed for many years as a secretary with the Tomahawk Leader. She enjoyed golfing, and was a long-time member of the Maple Birch Ladies' League. Dorothy was an original member of the Tomahawk Hatchet Booster Club. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: 2 daughters Sharon (Harry) Kincaid Durand Juliane (James) Leverance Tomahawk 3 brothers Delbert Heschke Tomahawk Donald (Jeanette) Heschke Casa Grande, Arizona Milton (Penny) Heschke Sun City West, Arizona Dorothy is further survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother - Melvin, and 1 granddaughter. A Memorial Service for Dorothy Bogie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2008 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Schoenherr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
