Dorothy J Eskola

Dorothy J. Eskola, age 79 of Park Falls, WI and formerly of Brantwood, WI passed away on Friday, September 12th at Marshfield Medical Center in Park Falls. Dorothy was born on June 23, 1946 in Auburndale, WI the daughter of John and Otillda (nee Altmann) Willfahrt. She married Eugene Eskola on September 26, 1970.

Dorothy loved being a homemaker and was a member of TOPPS Club in Prentice and enjoyed gardening, knitting, visiting with friends, traveling, volunteering for multiple clubs and causes and was an avid church goer, her smile and laugh will be missed.

She is survived by her son Wayne Eskola of Brantwood, WI and by 5 sisters Pat Hasenohrl of Nekoosa, WI; Annette (Gerold) Manlick of Marshfield, WI; Carol (James) Schneider of Plover, WI; Otillda “bootsie” Haasl of Lockport, IL; Ann Marheine of Brantwood, WI; and 2 brothers John (Jeannie) Willfahrt of Oconomowoc, WI and Gary Willfahrt of Tripoli, WI and by her Aunt Deloris Hoffman of Nekoosa, WI and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Eugene on December 14, 2000 and by her parents John and Otillda; her step mother Florence Ponkratz Willfahrt, her brother Eddie and by 3 brother in laws Mike Hasenohrl, James “Wense” Haasl and Jim Marheine.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 27th at Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home in Tomahawk from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am. Private inurnment will take place at Clifford Cemetery at a later date.
