Dorothy Jensen

Dorothy Jensen, age 88, N11445 Cty. Rd. A, Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, August 30, 3009 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Dorothy was born March 6, 1921 in Waupaca, the daughter of Hans and Mattie (Griffith) Nelson. She was married to Hjalmer Jensen; he passed away in 1991. Dorothy was raised in Waupaca and later moved to West Allis, where she was employed with Allis-Chalmers for 20 years. She later moved to the Iola area, and finally to Tomahawk in 1993. She was a member of Northland Lutheran Church in Northland, Wisconsin. Survivors include: Son Ronald (Ethel "Cookie") Jensen Tomahawk 3 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren Funeral Services for Dorothy Jensen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2009 from Northland Lutheran Church in Northland. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Sheridan Cemetery in the town of Farmington.
