Elaine Faith Sievert, 98, of Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Country Terrace Assisted Living in Minocqua. Elaine was born October 5, 1927, in Green Bay, WI, the daughter of Alfred and Linda (Wege) Marohl. Elaine was united in marriage to Marvin Sievert on June 20, 1953, at St James Lutheran in Shawano. Elaine and Marvin moved to Tomahawk in November of 1955.
Elaine enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and time with her family. Well Into her 90s she was a participant of the Strong Women exercise group. She was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she enjoyed quilting with the ladies, helping with the Christmas Bazaar, and baking for church activities.
Surviving is her daughter, Lisa McNeel, Saratoga Springs, UT; sons, Jeff (Joy) Sievert, Minocqua; Randy (Cheryl) Sievert, Cottonwood, AZ; five grandchildren, Hunter (Megan)and Kennedy McNeel, Samantha Schwartz, and Ryan (Ashley) and Derek Sievert (Shonda); six great-grandchildren, Oliver McNeel, Penelope Schwartz, Jace and Weston Sievert, Sunny and Ila Sievert, and a brother, Lyndal Marohl.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Marvin Sievert.
The Memorial Service for Elaine Faith Sievert will be held on August 24, 2026, at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tomahawk, with Pastors Smith and Gass officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on August 24th from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
The family thanks Donna Skubal, the staff of Country Terrace Assisted Living in Minocqua, Moments Hospice and her many neighbors and friends for caring for their mother.
Memorials will be donated to Autism Speaks and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
