Ella Rapel

Ella M. Rapel, age 96, of Rapel Rd., Tomahawk, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007 at Golden Living Center- Riverview in Tomahawk. She was born February 7, 1911 in Tomahawk to the late John and Jennie Erickson. She was a 1929 Graduate of Tomahawk High School. Ella was married to Roland "Fred" Rapel in 1931 in Tomahawk; he passed away on March 1, 1982. Ella and Fred owned and operated Rapel's Cottages in the Town of Bradley for many years; she retired in 1983. She had been a member of the Tomahawk Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include a Sister, Gloria (Walter) Pfingsten of Wausau, 2 Sisters-in-law, Phyllis Erickson, and Jean Erickson, both of Tomahawk. Ella is further survived by many Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband, Fred, and 4 Brothers, Gordon, James, and Phillip Erickson, and an Infant Brother. Funeral Services for Ella Rapel will be held Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 1 PM from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the time of services at 1 PM. Rev. Mark Gass will officiate with interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
