Emily Joy Doolan

Emily Joy Doolan, age 36, a resident of Minocqua, WI, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Howard Young Medical Center on September 3, 2026. She was born May 2, 1990, in Tampa, FL to parents Patrick and Erica Doolan. She was born with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome.

She was a blessing to her family. Emily loved music and was surrounded by animals that loved her. She was the perfect little girl sent to her family from heaven, and she was aware of God and his love for her.

Emily was preceded in death by her sister: Abigail Doolan; maternal grandparents: Diane and Buddy Arnold; paternal grandparents: Robert and Marlene Doolan; Uncle Steve Doolan; Aunt Patricia Doolan; Uncle David Block; cousin: Jodi Doolan; and other relatives. She is survived by her Mother: Erica Doolan; Father: Patrick (Wendy) Doolan; brother: Jonathan Doolan; stepbrothers: Wess (Jen) Umlauf, Wren (Erica Rae) Umlauf; step-grandparents: Geoffrey (Sandra) Pelkowski; aunts: Karen Doolan, Ruth Block, Lynn (Jack) Blazek; uncles: Paul (Marty) Arnold, Alex Arnold, Adam (Pei) Arnold, Brian (Cheryl) Doolan, Robert Doolan; numerous other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Woodruff, WI, at 11:00 am. A gathering will begin at 10:00 am.
