Frances "Fay" Bernadette Anderson

Frances “Fay” Bernadette Anderson, age 92, a resident of Catawba, WI, passed away May 15, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 19, 1933, in Catawba, WI, to parents Richard and Frances (Sperl) Retzlaff. She graduated from Phillips High School. She married the love of her life Irvin O. Anderson on August 1, 1953.

Fay was active with the Homemakers, and her Bible Study groups. She enjoyed making quilts for the homeless, baking, rosemaling, and caring for the terminally ill. She especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Fay was preceded in death by her husband: Irvin; parents; siblings: Bill, Huntz, Bert, Dick, Marshall, Peggy, Deloras, and Sarah. She is survived by her daughters: Janine (Mark) Smugala, Barbara (Robert) Strobl, Jana (Ken) Kozak; grandchildren: Heide (Lucas) Hanson, Heather (Matthew) Pinter, Matthew Strobl, Krista (Clayton) Lukes, Katie (Greg) Scott, Miranda (Charles) Halpin; great grandchildren: Ava, Mia, Jace, Riley, Oliver, Aspen, Stetson, Kolton, Kaden, Kira, Tarek, Kylee, Kaylee, Kinley, Treyden; brother: Larry Retzlaff; numerous other family and friends.

A Memorial Service is being planned and will be added when we have the date set.
