Harold E. Mustard, age 91 of Phillips, WI passed away on Tuesday, September 23rd at Marshfield Medical Center in Park Falls, WI. Harold was born on December 20, 1933 in Kennan, WI the son of George and Florence (Baker) Mustard. He attended Kennan Grade School and Phillips High School. Harold joined the US Army during the Korean War and served 3 years in the 39th Infantry in Fueth, Germany and was a tank mechanic.
Harold married Lorraine A. Kempen on August 16, 1958 and they just celebrated 67 years of marriage. Harold held various jobs throughout his life; Chicago International harvester, Mercury Outboard Motors, Agriculture Lime Business and owned and operated a Veal farm. He was an active member of the Lions club and bowling league.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine and his children Cindy (Kevin) Baumann of Tomahawk, WI; Laura (Larry) Stunkel of Eau Claire, WI; Joan (Charles) Peterson of Phillips, WI and Cheryl Blaha of Lake Elmo, MN and by daughter in law Valerie Mustard of Eau Claire, WI and by 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his son Terry Mustard, and grandson Shaun Winter and by his siblings Clarence Mustard, Irene Chmurynsky, Ruby Joeckel and infant sister Shirley Mustard.
Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, October 3rd at 11:00 am at St. Paul the Apostle in Catawba, WI with a Memorial Gathering from 9:30 am till time of service. Inurnment will take place at Kennan Cemetery with Military Honors.
