Jacqueline A. Rathbun

Jacqueline A. Rathbun was born November 13, 1937, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother left this world on June 28, 2026, in Merrill, Wisconsin at the age of 88. Jackie lived a rich life with love, work and many cherished memories. Jackie was married for over 70 years on September 17, 1955, to Douglas H. Rathbun. Doug “Sug” the love of her life passed away on March 10, 2026.

Jackie and Doug purchased and lived in the old Congo School in (Bloomfield) Genoa City, Wisconsin creating a home for their three children, Timmy, Tammy, and Scott. They moved to Rhinelander, WI, with their future plans of retirement where they had in previous years spent their vacations with family and friends, enjoying fishing and outdoors life. Jackie worked as a produce manager in Genoa City, WI, for several years at Filter Tek in Hebron, IL, and after moving to Rhinelander, worked as a CNA sharing her kind heart with everyone.

She is survived by her cherished children, Tim (Deena) Rathbun, Tammy Haase; grandmother to Joh Haase Jackie Bettack and John Bettack, Michael (RaeAnne), Tiffany (Ken) Tupa; great-grandmother to Eliza, Vontay, Able, Bentley, Owen, Mason, Miyah, Wade Douglas, Collin, Coltin and Izzie; brother-in-law, Robert (Christl) Rathbun, and multiple other family members, and her loving neighbors, John, Dick, and Lisa.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Douglas; and brother, Louis “Louie” Koehn.
