James R. Bowman

James R. Bowman, age 69 of Harshaw, WI passed away on Wednesday, July 8th at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI. Jim was born on December 10, 1956 in Woodruff, WI the son of Raymond “Bud” and Beverly (nee Houck) Bowman.

Jim graduated from Lakeland Union High School and attended various trade schools. Jim married Beverly Bishop on January 31, 2008. He was owner/operator of Island City Dray, Inc. Jim was actively involved with snowmobile and ATV clubs in the area and a member of NRA. He loved classic corvettes, trail riding his ATV’s and enjoyed gun and bow hunting.

He is survived by his wife Beverly Bishop-Bowman and children Angela Bowman, Brian (significant other Kate) Bowman and Ben (Heather) Bowman and by grandchildren Tristan, Elliot, Bella, Harper, Oliver, Lila and Cameron.

Further by his brother Mark (Beth) Bowman and sister Jo Ann Wenzlick and by his nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends and his work family. He will be deeply missed by all.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Beverly Bowman.

Memorial Gathering for Jim will be held on Thursday, July 30th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI.
