Janet Gerard Esterholm

Janet Gerard Esterholm, age 81 of Prentice, WI passed away on Monday, December 1st at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI.  Janet was born on March 12, 1944 in Chilton, WI  the daughter of Emil and  Rose Hvalacka.  She graduated from Phillips High School in 1962 and married Daniel J. Gerard in 1962 and went to Nursing School and received her degree in nursing in 1978.  She married John Esterholm in 1987.

Janet was involved with various catholic churches as a volunteer.  She loved gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her 2 sons Donald Gerard and Daniel Gerard and by her grandchildren Crystal Gerard, Nicole Anderla and Katie Gerard and by great Grandchildren Kai Gerard, Faith McNair, Bam McNair, Anastasia Anderla, Milana Gerard and Mateo Gerard.

Inurnment will take place in the spring/summer of 2026 at Prentice Cemetery.
