Janis Marie Baude

Janis Marie Baude, age 76, passed away peacefully at Tomahawk Health Services on Sunday, November

19, 2023. She had previously been a longtime resident of the Eagle River/Land O’Lakes area.

Janis was born on December 31, 1946, in Evansville, Indiana.

Janis worked in a variety of positions from waitressing, office work, floral and ultimately retired from

General Electric in Fort Myers, working in their aircraft tax division. After retiring, she moved back to

the north woods to be closer to her family.

Janis was extremely artistic, bringing the Northwoods beauty to her canvas. She loved to paint, craft,

bird watch, cook, play games and garden. She had a great sense of humor and her spirit and character

endeared her to many that she came in contact with.

Janis is survived by one daughter, Leslie Langhoff (Scot) of Eagle River, two grandchildren, Langdon

Langhoff and Bryce Langhoff of Eagle River, two sisters, Kathleen Schisel of Antigo and Mary Jean Kuntz

of Bryant, Illinois, one brother Bruce Clark of Antigo and two nephews and two nieces.

Janis was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother William “Willie” Clark.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
