Jean Marie Schiltz

Jean Marie Schiltz, 90, of Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026 at her home with loved ones by her side. Jean was born July 6, 1936 in Glenview, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Minerva (Hoyer) Loehmer.

Jean enjoyed knitting, she had made 203 afghans for Project Linus, and 109 sweater and 7 afghans for World Vision. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, music, animals, sunflowers and loved her family.

Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Walter “Ronnie”; her children, Rhonda (Jeff) Will, Wausau; Kevin (Karen), Tomahawk; Kellie (Larry) Carstensen, Tomahawk; Jodean (Bruce) Parlier, New Berlin; 8 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and a brother, Fred Loehmer, Gig Harbor, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Alison Will.

Funeral Service for Jean will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home with Larry Mathein officiating. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to time of service at 11:00 a.m.
