Jeanne Rae Paulson

Jeanne Rae Paulson, age 82, a lifelong Tomahawk resident, passed away on January 11, 2019.

Jeanne Rae was born on October 25, 1936 to Everett & Erna (Rehwinkel) Plautz. Jeanne Rae married Donald Paulson on April 28, 1956. She was a school bus driver for Tomahawk for 45 years. Jeanne Rae was a Girl Scout leader, a Junior Luther League leader and a charter member of the Hatchet Booster Club. Jeanne Rae loved watching sports, especially cheering for the Tomahawk Hatchets, Badgers, Brewers & Packers. She was also a Carroll Recipient. Jeanne Rae received the Carroll Award from the City of Tomahawk. Jeanne Rae had a deep faith and was an extremely active member of Grace Lutheran Church. There, she donated her time as a greeter, a reader and the funeral luncheon committee chairperson.

Jeanne Rae is survived by her husband – Don; her children – Peggy (Brian) Morren & Tom (Kathy) Paulson, both of Tomahawk; her sisters – Nancy Bronsted of Tomahawk & Paula (Lance) Polege of North Carolina; 4 Grandchildren – McKenna (Kyle) Hipp, Katie (Mike) Van De Weerd, Isaac (Nicole) Zickert & Anna Zickert; and 7 Great Grandchildren – Caleb, Ava, Georgia, Levi, Eli, Cash & Lincoln. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother in law – Jim Bronsted.

The Funeral Service for Jeanne Rae Paulson will take place at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church, Tomahawk. Pastor Mark Ziemer will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM.
