Jeffrey "Jeff" M. Mendez

Jeffrey M. Mendez, 58, of Minocqua, WI, passed away at his home on January 31,2025. He was born in Woodruff to parents Benjamin and Dolores (Hermann) Mendez on August 28, 1966. He attended Lakeland Union High School. Jeffrey owned and operated Lakeland Upholstery, for many years. He enjoyed long drives down back roads, trail riding in the side by side, playing pool, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. 

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Bob Mendez, Gary Mendez; stepson: Eric “EJ” Johnson. He is survived by his life partner: Crystal Grace; children: Michael (April) Mendez, Tim Nygard, Susie Stevens, Randy Grace, Miranda Grace, Kirsten Grace; grandchildren: Lexi Mendez, James Mendez, Tim Stevens, Sonny Nygard, Jason Hinrichs, Lilly Pedroza; siblings: June Orlikowski, Ben Mendez; cousins: Nick, Janice, Sonny, and Shirley.

Private family services were held.
